Diwali is been  celebrated from the time when Lord Rama returned  back from his exile to Ayodhya after overcoming  the demon Ravana. Diwali is also intended to be a harvest festival. Diwali is a celebration of light in the Hindu religion. People celebrate Diwali for many reasons, however, Diwali is still celebrated for many reasons. The Lod Rama went for exile on 14 years where he ad travelled many places in around the asia.Some consider it to be the arrival of Lord Rama. People also celebrate this festival on the arrival of Pandavas who came back after 12 years. People celebrate Diwali due to Krishna defeating Nakasura (evil demon).

First of all, the formation and causes of Diwali are important. Diwali is been  celebrated as the most favourite  festival in India. 'Diwali' is been considered as the row of illuminated lights. Hindus celebrate Diwali with lighting up Diyas from ancient days. During the festival, people burn their homes and shops with diyas (small cup-shaped oil lamps made of dry clay). They worship Lord Ganesha for great profit and prosperity and worship Godess Lakshmi for wealth and goodness.

Diwali festivities include a long ritual five times which is celebrated with joy and happiness. This early time of Diwali is called the Dhanteras, the second day is Naraka Chaturdashi or Chhoti Diwali, 3 days is the main Diwali or Lakshmi Puja, the 4th day  is Govardhan Puja and the fifth day is Bhai Dooj. Each of these five diwali rituals has its own spiritual and social beliefs.

India celebrates the most festivals in the country and the festival keeps on growing each year, where people of all the eligions fulfill various festivals according to their personal culture and practice. Diwali is one of the most famous, important, traditional and social festivalsof India for people of Hinduism, which they meet with great enthusiasm every year with relatives, family, friends, and neighbours. Similarly, it is called festival of lights or Deepawali. The festival originated in the Indian subcontinent and is noted in earlier Sanskrit textbooks. During festivals, the rites of Diwali differ from this part of India. These celebrations usually occur eighteen day  after Dussehra. In some parts of India, the festivals run on Dhanteras or its equivalent which makes home improvement and room jewellery off.

People meet Padava on the 4th night of Deepawali, on which Lord Krishna lifted Govardhan mountain on his finger. Whereas, the last day is celebrated as Bhai Dooj in which the sisters apply red tilak on the foreheads of their brothers and ask for their further time from the God above. In return, the brothers give gifts and blessings to their younger sister. It is normal for people to come for shopping and food on Diwali.

As per the Rituals peoples may used to buy products like utensils,home decorative items,and metals  etc for themselves. . They clean their homes and remove all unnecessary components that will give one person a look for other people. Similarly, some of these people make footprints of Ma Lakshmi, by applying vermilion powder and rangoli.
